Growing Up in Mexico
Amanda Villarreal grew up in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico and later immigrated to Southern California with her family at the age of 5. She continually broke her families expectations by graduating high school and later college. She was determined to make the most of her experience in America by working hard to provide for herself and her family. As she continued to grow professionally and personally, she found a new life for herself in Kansas City.
Making Success Happen
In 2007, Amanda began her career in commercial finance. She spent nearly two decades paving her way in the industry while achieving promotions to higher positions in prestigious companies. Through her industry experience and connections, she decided
to start a business of her own with co-founder Josh Goode, COO of PLEX Capital. PLEX Capital was founded in 2019 with aspirations of becoming the preferred payroll funding company for determined dreamers of the American Dream. Now, they’re helping entrepreneurs across the country find funding.
Continually Achieving More
Amanda’s time with PLEX Capital hasn’t been without its challenges. Starting just before the COVID-19 outbreak, she has worked tirelessly to navigate through the struggles that PLEX Capital and so many other businesses have faced due to the pandemic. She has
proven herself to be resilient in the face of adversity time and time again, while achieving multiple awards along the way. Today, she is focused on expanding her business and so many others.
Through everything that has been thrown her way throughout the years, Amanda Villarreal has learned how to navigate through the struggles of small business ownership. Now, she utilizes her experience to help businesses across the country find success in their own ways by providing them with the working capital they need to thrive.
